International Trade Analyst for Mexbros Fruit, Inc. in San Diego, CA. Analyze the company’s international trade and provide solutions to improve efficiency in fruit and vegetable wholesale and export/import industry.
Observe and assess company procedures and create proposals and new practices to resolve operational issues involving cross-border U.S. and Mexico trade. Conduct organizational studies, evaluate alternatives, and prepare recommendations for management to improve international trade during period of global market consolidation.
Analyze data and advise management on ways to take advantage of the opportunities of the U.S.-Mexico border region's multicultural market and to identify potential consumers without the border being an obstacle. Provide analysis of the U.S. –Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA) and offer options for management to utilize the USMCA as a tool for generating new commercial opportunities between the U.S. and Mexico.
Complete a thorough analysis of the existing trade operations for fresh produce, diagnose problems, develop plans to increase efficiency, and recommend solutions to operate more effectively in the international marketplace.
Advise on alternatives for management to implement new systems, monitor changes, and maintain improvements in international trade.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in international relations or international business (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 36 months of experience. The 36 months of required experience must involve cross-border U.S. and Mexico trade analysis.
